Dear Reader:
Up to this point you may - or may not - wonder who the hell the writer of this blog may be, what this author's interests are and where the hell she comes from. The following lines are thought to ease your interest and give some vague answers so that you may stop asking.
I answer to the name Ghelik Black, which is a pseudonym for another name, that'd be my given name.
I was born in 1890 somewhere beneath a rainbow and moved to Barcelona 22 years ago. Now I'm studying in the outskirts of the city in a fabulous college forgotten in the middle of the forest to which - like Hogwarts - you have to go by train.
The reason I started studdying only recently is my growing fancy to the moving pictures - also known as movies or films. I specially like animation and musical movies. One of my many goals is to write someday an animated musical. I'd love to engage myself in a Broadway or West End production, but I fear my musical skills are nearly none and, even though my acting's not bad, my singing can provoke thunderstorms.
You've probably guessed by now that another of my hobbies is to write. I personally pride myself in the fact that a few years ago I finally published my first fantasy novel called "El Trono Caído" [The Fallen Throne], which is not as famous as the "Game of Thrones" but I'm working on it. Currently I'm working on my second novel, that will be a steampunk science-ficction work. I'm also working on scripts for some college practices.
My interest in musicals and musical theater comes hand in hand with another passion of mine: "The Phantom of the Opera". You may - or may not - notice that a lot of the movies I watch have or can be refrenced to this classic which I adore and I pray you may excuse the many times I may talk about it. But it's one of those pieces of art that just has to appear once in a while. Yet don't think that my musical interest is restricted to that area alone, for I really love that kind of theater and I may put a small side page in which I talk of some of my favourites, all of which can be found in a great page named Jukebox. Please notice that by putting the link in this page I'm not encouraging to download ilegally, but to broaden the horizont of this fascinating subject.
If you need to find me for some reason and somehow manage to avoid the time in which I'm glued infront of the screen writing or doing college work, you may find me drawing - or atempting to. Draw is a great hobby of mine and I fear my patience is not good enough, for I often find myself bored of the sketches. If I'm not to be found in the depths of my spanish nest, I'm probably wandering the world, for I love to travell and have done so nearly since birth. And if I'm neither, then I'm probably doing something else and you may leave a message or come back later.
